A deeply personal selection of jungle, breakbeat, house and trip hop tracks produced by MZA culminating from his years of experimentation and explorations in music.

"impermanence" was born from the sessions that created his last EP "dharma delight", originally intended to be part of the release however it was chosen to be left out due to a contrasting direction. Through this latest 10-track selection he explores a sound that is more introspective yet retaining the harder hitting elements from the EP. Elements of jungle, breakbeat, house and trip hop converge to form a deep reflection of years of experimenting and studying the music that he so loves. Yet charting a new path forward through incorporating newer elements such as acid, techno on select tracks and embracing a new love for a more raw one-take style achieved through live
recording his sequences.

From the album opener and title track, "impermanence" setting the mood with lush pads intertwining with a helter-skelter beat that
oscillates between hip hop inspired patterns to jittery liquid breaks. Onto the techno-jungle, acid inspired rhythms of "scatman corrupter"
and the Gundam-influenced hardcore raver "aerial break" which was featured on the Greece-based Strictly Nuskool's hardcore compilation, "Strictly Nuskool Vol.3" signalling yet another devastating new style in his growing discography of music.

The album also features several live one-take tracks interspersed throughout, blurring the lines between studio work and the live beat sessions he's been participating in on his travels back to Japan. Tracks like "third eye / chakra (live)" and "juzzy (live)" represents the wide depth of technical styles from finger drumming to sequencing.
